I get a lot of junk mail. I recycle what I can of it and use the blank envelopes as scratch paper. A friend of mine has a medical office nearby and I saw something interesting on his employees' desks. They had small pads of scrap paper on each desk that were made of misprinted documents, junk mail, and other scraps of used paper. They cut them down to a 3" by 3" square and stapled them in one corner. Instead of burning through Post-It Notes, they simply were reusing their paper. Simple steps like this can make all of the difference, if we all try.
