If you get black stains on the inside of your aluminum pots after cooking, here is a great cleaning trick. Fill with clean water and a few tablespoons of cream of tarter. Bring the mixture to a boil for at least a few minutes. Remove from the heat and allow to cool before draining. The black stain should be gone. Now just clean the pot as usual and it's ready for the next meal!
