Tea and coffee can leave bad stains in your favorite coffee mug or thermos. To remove those stains fill your mug or thermos with hot water and add 1 tablespoon of water softener per 8oz of water. Let the mixture stand for around one hour then rinse well with water. The stains will be gone and your cup or thermos should look new.
