Removing Marker and Crayon From Painted Walls

Having young children who like to draw, I sometime have to clean marker and crayon from our walls. The other day we were out of our Mr. Clean Magic Erasers so I had to improvise. I used a dry microfiber cloth and ordinary toothpaste and it did a wonderful job. I did find a few areas where the toothpaste didn't get all of it so I finished those areas with a little hairspray, wiping immediately with a clean cloth.
