Homemade Shoe Fresheners

No matter who you are, eventually your running/workout sneakers will begin to smell. To keep your sneakers, or for that matter any shoes, smelling fresher longer make some homemade shoe fresheners. Just cut the feet out of an old pair running socks and fill them with baking soda or kitty litter, both soak up odor and moisture. If odor alone is your problem, you can fill the socks up with dried lavender or any other nice smelling potpourri you fancy. Then just sew up the ends and you have foot shaped shoe deodorizers ready to go.
