How NOT To Remove Scratches From CD's and DVD's

In our research for How To Clean CDs & DVDs we found a tip that suggested using a banana and banana peel could remove scratches on CDs and DVDs. I tried to clean one of my CDs using this method the other night. Needless to say I have a ruined CD now. The banana actually made more scratches on the disc, so save your discs and use a commercial scratch remover.
