Take The Sting Out Of Bee and Hornet Stings

If you get stung by a bee or hornet, place a paste of powdered meat tenderizer and water onto the sting. Make sure you remove the stinger before you apply the paste. The enzymes in the meat tenderizer will break down the proteins in the venom. Don't allow the mixture to be on your skin for more then 15 minutes. If you are or think you might be allergic to bee or hornet stings, go see a doctor right away. You can try this mixture on other bug bites, but depending on the amount of protein in the venom you results will vary.
