Removing Stains From Granite Countertops

To remove many stains from granite counter tops you can use a paste of hydrogen peroxide and baking soda. Apply the paste over the stain and let stand over night. Wipe the area clean with a damp cloth and then polish with a microfiber cloth. To help prevent stains on granite always clean spills, even water, as soon as they happen. Granite is porous and will absorb most liquids. Keep some extra microfiber cloths handy to handle those spills. After doing the dishes, be sure to dry the counter as dirty dishwater easily stains lightly colored granite.
