Several of my friends enjoy smoking cigars while we play poker. The next day our house used to smell like a bar until we starting using the following tips. Spray all ash trays with pledge and polish. This will keep any ashes from sticking to the ash tray and you will be able to clean them quickly and easily, removing the odors with the ashes. Place several bowls of white vinegar around the house. The white vinegar will absorb most of the odors, especially if left standing overnight. Employing a small air filter with an active charcoal filter will reduce more odors and cut down on the dust. Using these methods my wife no longer complains about the smell, as there isn't any.
