Always read your commercial cleaning products labels! I cannot stress this enough. If you have any gold or rare metal plated fixtures, do not use any petroleum-based products on them. Also, stay away from using any highly acidic cleaners such as orange or citrus based cleaners or vinegar. These cleaners with instantly destroy the metal's surface, discoloring it permanently. Only use mild dish soap and water or cleaners that are specifically designed for these metals.
