Wiping out Fleas, my wife reminded me about another great tip that helped us fight our battle against our fleas. Her cat was instantly the target of hundreds of the fleas. His flea collar provided next to no protection. The flea baths with the shampoo recommended by our local pet store provided only temporary relief. We created our own flea repellent for him. Dilute garlic juice or extract with water. Make sure that you use at least an 80/20 water/garlic mixture to not burn your pet's skin. Wipe down their coat with the mixture and watch the fleas run in terror. Reapply a light coat every few days until the fleas have been eradicated.
